Last Market Day Before Christmas!

This Saturday 12th December will be your last chance to pick up a Christmas Tree chocolate bouquet, or any other bouquet before Christmas. Although the Civic Homespun Market is being held the following Saturday I will not be there, so if you want a stunning centre piece for your Christmas table then get down to the market, Pilgrim Hall, Paterson Street between 10 am and 3 pm!

I have gold and silver themed Christmas Trees, featuring a mixture of milk chocolate Lindt balls and Cadbury chocolate stars, made up ready to sell!

Also available are the smaller box bouquets in Christmas colours for those of you on a budget. $20 for the smaller box, $30 for the tree.

I am looking forward to finally wrapping my Christmas presents, doing the usual Christmas cooking - chocolate truffles, rocky road truffles, cookies and cream truffles and maybe squeezing in a rest somewhere before Christmas!

To everyone have a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.

Apology

Firstly I would like to apologise to anyone who went to the Civic Homespun Market on Saturday 21 November looking to find me, I was home in bed feeling very unwell :(

The car was packed with all my bits and pieces for the market, I got up, had a shower but that's as far as I got, couldn't sit at the market all day feeling like I was so I went back to bed, but sadly missed the market.

Thank you to Tameeka for making me the featured stallholder on the market blog last week, I really appreciate it and it would have been a great day at the market.

I'm all set to be at the December 5 and 12 markets, with my Christmas Trees and boxes so those of you looking to buy one, I look forward to seeing you there!

Advertise, Advertise, Advertise!

That's my motto this week, do as much advertising of my products and the Civic Homespun Market as I can possibly manage to get my name out there!

I have been pounding the pavement this morning delivering flyers, and I now have great respect for those people who deliver catalogues etc for a living, I've only been going for half a day and I'm already exhausted. Oh well, you can't expect to start a business without some hard work.

My little boy Jacob has been very patient being pushed up and down streets and driveways in his pram while I deliver the flyers. Thankfully I wasn't trying to do this 6 months ago when a trip in the pram meant constant screaming!

I've pinned flyers up on noticeboards, a few more to go before I'm finished, and am organising an add in the Examiner for Saturday so if this doesn't work nothing will! Hopefully it will work so I can convince my husband that he needs to look after Jacob every Saturday while I'm at the market.

Meanwhile I'm also trying to plan a 1st birthday party, I've still got a week so it should be fine, if I survive all the walking.

Wish me luck :)

Market on Saturday

I will be taking my Chocolates in Bloom and Baby Gifts to the Civic Homespun Market, in the Pilgrim Hall, Paterson Street, Launceston this Saturday 31st October for a second attempt at introducting them to the public. Hoping for some nice weather this time and lots of visitors!

First Time Blogger!

So this is the very first blog I have ever written! I'm very new to all this but am hoping to get my home business off the ground and if this is what it takes then this is what I will do!
